The question of whether cancer can or cannot grow in acidic environment aside…

If you want to attain an acidic environment in your body, why the heck would you be eating alkaline foods? It will just make your body alkaline, not acidic.

What that suggestion means to say is that the blood stream can be slightly acidic or alkaline and that this state can be adjusted manually (orally) by the type of foods that we eat. Unfortunately, the statement that cancer CANNOT grow in an acidic environment is untrue. Cancer cells happily spread throughout the body in an ‘acidic’ blood environment. Also, cancer that develops in the tissues often does so surrounded by water, not blood. When the cancer cells, growing together, become a bunch large enough to require more nutrition than is being filtered to them by the slow seepage through water, they (as all cells) send out a chemical messenger to any nearby blood vessel cells, ordering those blood vessels to grow towards the cancer cells in order to nourish them directly from the blood stream. Once the cancer cells can feed on nutrition rich blood the cancer grows very rapidly and can easily break into the blood vessels and be transported elsewhere into the body, and then the ‘plague’ begins within the human body.

    Everyone has cancer to some extent, it is a normal condition. Cancer cells, in simplest terms are simply cells that have been damaged (in their nucleus) but not killed, and not damaged to the extent that they can no longer reproduce. When cells reproduce they reproduce themselves, and if they are damaged they tend to reproduce more damaged cells so that the problem escalates. The cancer cells, not really being able to do their normal function, become more and more of a nuisance or a blockage to the functioning of the cells and structures around them.

    As long as a cancer is contained within in an area it can be treated or removed by surgery. Radiation or chemical therapy kills cells, however as cancer cells are already damaged they are the ones that tend to die before your normal cells do. Dosage is critical so as not to kill too many normal cell bystanders in the process. When cancer cells get into the bloodstream the danger to the body gets really serious. As cancer cells are your own ‘citizen’ cells they all have an identity passport that they present (on their surface) to your white cell ‘police’ or ‘medical’ cells whose job it is to swallow up dangerous foreign intruders. Foreign intruders, such as bacteria or small particles do not have a passport identifying them as your own and are therefore attacked by your white cells. If cells or cancer cells are too damaged the white cells will eliminate them.

    When your immune system is healthy it can operate at its peak efficiency and clean out dangerous and damaged small items from your system. Therefore whatever you do that assists your immune system will also help to quell cancer, though there is no magic solution. Free Radicals in the body cause damage and aging (oxygen, like acid, is a highly reactive force at cellular level). Anti-oxidants such as Vitamin E and co-enzyme Q 10 assist in removing Free Radicals, so ensure you get adequate amounts in your diet. Experiments have shown the test groups on Beta-carotene tend to be resistant to cancer. Beta-carotene is the orange substance you see in foods such as carrots. Although Beta-carotene does not cure cancer it seems to help to prevent it. Don’t overdose. I would suggest that you also try sago. We are all a bag of water and chemicals, and any foreign chemicals taken into the body may be expected to cause damage. Asbestos rods thrusting into lung cells damage them and start cancers. Tar from cigarettes definitely gives you cancer: Mice with cancer are always required in research labs. In the lab, mice have their fur shaven and some tar is placed on their skin, the mice always develop cancer, very useful. Exercise also helps the body to function properly and eliminate waste (unwanted chemical) products. There is no magic potion or food that in itself will solve the problem of cancer. But a multi-level attack will definitely help to quell it.

    The idea that "cancer cannot grow in an acidic environment" is absolutely ridiculous! Stomach cancer is the fourth most common cancer worldwide with 930,000 cases diagnosed in 2002, & the stomach is the most acidic environment in your body!
